Visiting us for the first time?

We have plenty of parking spaces.  You can also park along the street.  We don't have a dress code.  Wear as you feel comfortable.  You will see people dressed from coat and tie, to T-shirts and short pants.

Children are welcome at worship.  There is a portion during worship where all the children gather in front for a short message crafted just for them.  Afterwards, they proceed to their class for more activities and Bible study.  We also provide child care at our nursery.  If you are a nursing mom, talk to us so we could make a special arrangement where you could discreetly nurse your baby while being able to listen to the worship service.

Did we mention that we celebrate our fellowship together with a
buffet-style lunch?  Right after the worship service, we congregate at the Regan Hall for a taste of varied dishes--from Asian, Filipino, Italian, American and other delicacies prepared by our church members.  And as a first-time visitor, you get the head-of-the-line privilege.  During this time, we also celebrate the birthdays and wedding anniversaries of those who are celebrating that month.

We know that attending a new church for the first time is a scary experience.  Please try us, and we will make all the possible things to make you feel at home.  At Umphress Road UMC,
nobody is a stranger.

For more information about our worship, and to make your visit as pleasant as possible, please contact Guyde Evasco, Chairperson of Committee on Worship, at
